We process personal data that you provide to us yourself, for example through our contact form, the sample or quote request form, by email or by phone. This concerns:

• name and company name;
• email address and phone number;
• the content of your message or request, such as the product, estimated quantities and the desired delivery time;
• when we work together: contact, delivery and invoicing details.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and time of visit, to keep the website secure and working properly. We do not process special categories of personal data and do not target persons under the age of 16.

• Answering your question, sample request or quote request. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into an agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
• Performing an agreement, such as delivering products and sending invoices. Legal basis: performance of the agreement.
• Complying with legal obligations, such as the statutory tax retention period. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• Securing the website and keeping it working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.

We do not make decisions based on automated processing and do not create profiles of visitors.

• We keep messages and requests submitted through the website or by email for a maximum of two years after the last contact, unless they lead to a business relationship.
• Data covered by the statutory tax retention period, such as invoices and the related records, is kept for seven years.
• Technical log data of the website is automatically deleted after a short period.

We do not sell your data. We only share it with parties needed to provide our services, and with whom we have made agreements on security and confidentiality:

• Hostinger hosts our website and the form submissions, on servers within the European Union.
• Our email provider processes the messages you send us.
• unpkg delivers a code library for the animations on the website. This involves processing your IP address, possibly also outside the European Economic Area.

The website fonts are loaded from our own server, not through Google. In addition, we provide data to third parties if we are legally required to do so.

Our website does not place any cookies. We do not use analytical, tracking or advertising cookies and do not follow your visit across other websites. That is why we do not ask for cookie consent.

Should we start using cookies in the future, we will update this privacy statement and, where required, ask for your consent first.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unlawful use. The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS) and only authorised staff have access to your data.

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can also ask us to restrict the processing, object to the processing and have your data transferred. Send your request to info@paletxl.com. We will respond within one month.
