More than 40 years of tea. A small organisation with short lines.

PaletXL is co-owner of Ceyem Exports in Colombo. That puts us not on the trading side of the market but on the production side: we have a say in processing and packaging, right where the tea comes from.

There we pack black tea, green tea and herbal tea in custom made packaging formats. Staple-free tea bags, with or without an envelope, or as a pyramid bag. What your product needs determines the format. Not the other way round. In the Netherlands we have our own production site for loose tea.

Leaf to cup is not a slogan for us but a route we travel ourselves. At every step, one of our people is there.

In practice you notice it in three things: the price, the quality and the speed at which we can arrange things for you.

Black tea, green tea and herbal tea, spread across private label, Ceyem and Ashford. Not a catalogue to browse, but a starting point.

You choose an existing blend and have it adjusted until it suits your brand, or you have one developed to measure. We advise on blends and trends: which flavours are emerging, which packaging suits your shelf. The same approach now also applies to herbs and spices.

Our top brand Ashford is composed and selected by senior tea master Chrisantha Perera, as top of the bill quality. A balanced blend shows in the flavour, and in the refined aroma that adds another layer on top.

What is decided at the tasting table goes straight into production. Because we are part of the chain ourselves, a verdict on a lot doesn't have to pass through three parties first. That makes tasting a decision rather than advice.

We pack the loose leaf teas at our own production site in the Netherlands, together with people with a distance to the labour market. They learn the work and they do the work.

For you that means something very practical. Filling happens close by, under our own direction and with short lines. Small batches are possible, changing labels are possible, and an urgent request doesn't have to travel halfway around the world. Social and commercial go hand in hand here.
